Medical Director - Islip, NY
VCA Animal Hospitals, Islip, New York, United States, 11751
Join VCA and practice medicine your way! Our client base is growing at VCA East Islip Animal Hospital in Islip, NY and we're looking for a Medical Director to help lead our team!
We are seeking a highly experienced Veterinarian to lead our 2-doctor team of Veterinarians as Medical Director. This is an outstanding opportunity to continue practicing medicine while establishing the direction and medical quality of the hospital like an owner would, but without the risks of ownership. Plus, you'll have the solid backing of experts in Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, and more, to help you succeed.
At VCA, you can be the veterinarian that you have always wanted to be! We have a special culture in our hospitals that values individual skill, personality and gives you the autonomy that you need to practice high quality medicine. Whether you are an experienced veterinarian or a new graduate, we provide the mentorship and development you need to grow in your veterinary career.
All of our hospitals are former private-practices that have retained the spirit that made them successful and now also have access to the people and financial resources of a large veterinary community. Those resources provide the training and equipment to meet the development interest of our doctors. Our philosophy is to provide our doctors and hospital teams with the tools to be successful. We then rely on our doctors to make the best decisions for their patients.
At VCA we are committed to equity, inclusion, and diversity, and strive to be a place where a talented mix of people want to come, stay, and do their best work.
Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $130K - $150K. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
