Registered Nurse- CVPICU

Client will consider clinicians with pending CA license at time of submittal as long as they have utilized the Aya licensure program and we have an expected date for their license to be liveDON'T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE. Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Childrens facility.Required:•CA License•2 years of Peds CTICU but consider slightly under if very strong candidate•PEDS Cardiac exp•Heart transplant experience•Willing to float between units•BLS•PALS•Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretationTraveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and ED. The units include PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical behavioral unit. They have, on rare occasion, floated to Bernardy Center.Shifts: (discussed in interview)•3x12 variable or straight nights***Please note that the 7th shift requirement has been removed for CTICU travelers starting 9/5 and later****•13, 18, 21 or 26 weeks contractsRequested Time Off:6 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week)Ratio:1:1-2Unit Summary: 30-37 beds. Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD's and ECMO.
