We are seeking a
Traveling Superintendent
to support our project locations located on the
West Coast . As a Construction Traveling Superintendent, you will provide overall leadership and supervision to all on-site activities at our job sites.
Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day field operations of commercial construction projectsOversee subcontractors, laborers, and other Schimenti Field Operations team membersCommunicate professionally and effectively with clients, architects, and client representativesDaily interaction and communication with Project Management team membersCreate and manage 3 week look-ahead schedulesCoordinate task completion and schedules with trade partnersVerify dimensions and layoutsEnsure all submittals are completed in a timely mannerMaintain daily focus on job site safety and ensure security of project perimeterResponsible for updating daily logs and photosPartner with Project Management team to ensure timely and accurate close-out processCoordinate site testing and inspection effortsMonitor project costs, which include labor time and materialsAttend and participate in required weekly project and subcontractor meetingsAbility to travel upon requestQualifications and Experience:
Minimum of five years of experience as a Superintendent leading commercial construction projectsProven experience managing complex construction projects on short timetablesStrong multi-tasking and time management skillsDemonstrate proficiency in reading commercial construction plans and specificationsCollaborative and team-orientedHigh school diploma required, trade school or college education preferred10 or 30 Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification preferredAbility to work with tools to perform various phases of construction work is a plusValid driver's license requiredSoftware Systems:
Microsoft Office experience requiredProcore experience highly preferredTimberline/Sage experience preferredBasic working knowledge of Zoom or MS Teams
