They are responsible for delivering a wide array of design materials, including logos, web graphics, document typesetting and layouts, print and digital ads, direct mail, brochures/print collateral, and graphics for promotional items.This is a full-time, in-person position based out of our Fairfax, VA location.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate concepts into a deliverable product while adhering to company aesthetics/brand guidelines, quality standards, and timelines.Coordinate the administrative aspects of pre-production for final designs.Collaborate with coworkers inside and outside the marketing department to assess needs and understand project requirements.Work closely with external vendors, printers, and contractors to ensure materials are delivered on time and to standards.Present design concepts, mockups, and prototypes to stakeholders for feedback and approval.Use feedback to make necessary revisions until the desired outcome is produced.Provide occasional event support, including setup and photography.Stay up to date with industry trends, design tools, and best practices to continuously improve design quality and efficiency.Maintain organized file management and documentation of design assets for easy access and future reference.Other tasks as required.Education/Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.Open to all levels of practical experience.Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for PC is required.Must possess excellent project management and time management skills.Familiarity with PC applications including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.The ability to receive constructive feedback and incorporate it into revisions.Photography and/or illustration skills are a plus.Additional Eligibility QualificationsMust pass a background check.Must be eligible to work in the United States.Sponsorship is not currently available for this position.
