You will also have the unique opportunity to provide inputs to the next generation of AWS services by representing one of its largest enterprise customers, Amazon.The successful candidate is expected to contribute to all parts of the software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing, and operations. They must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-driven and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. They need to really enjoy working closely with their peers in a group of very talented engineers.Key job responsibilitiesFull Stack Engineering: Ability to work on both frontend and backend development tasks. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and technologies related to web development.Tech Design Decisions: Participating in tech designs and discussions and making informed decisions about technology choices. Evaluating trade-offs between different design options and proposing optimal solutions.Code Review: Conducting thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards. Providing constructive feedback to team members and helping them improve their coding skills.Best Practices: Promoting best practices in software development, including code organization, documentation, testing, and version control.About The TeamAbout Amazon SecurityBasic Qualifications3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming languageBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentPreferred Qualifications3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceExperience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systemsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
