Position SummaryMetrea’s Platform Team is searching for a results-oriented Senior Business Analyst with ERP, Supply Chain, and Maintenance system implementation/support experience. Aerospace industry experience would be ideal. Primary responsibilities are focused on functional design specifications, system configuration, user procedures, end user training, and system support. The position will require a strong business and some technical background, coupled with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel. The individual will have the autonomy to work as a team member and independently on our Enterprise projects, which includes the implementation of Aircraft logistics, maintenance, and flight operation systems. Work will primarily be remote, but some travel may be required.Essential Functions StatementParticipate in project planning activities, especially as it relates to design, configuration, user procedures, system testing, and training.Work closely with project team and end users, in order to gather information specific to functional design, user procedures, and training.Create end user procedures and training materials.Create meeting minutes and follow up on action items.Incorporate meeting minutes into procedures, when relevant.Conduct end user training, along with supporting team members.End user support on enterprise applications.Assists with administrative tasks, such as project plan maintenance, documentation filing, and scheduling meetings.Competency StatementsSelf-motivated; team oriented; responsible, and reliable.Positive attitude and proactive style. Candidate must have the ability to work in a structured, yet variable environment.Experience in Agile methodology.Experience in creating functional specifications, user procedures, and training materials.Experience in configuring systems.Ability to take detailed meeting notes and incorporate into functional specifications and user procedures, when relevant.Strong analytical skills.Experience in implementing packaged and/or custom systems.Experience in accounting, supply chain, and maintenance systems.Experience in aircraft logistics, maintenance, and flight operations systems is ideal.Good grasp of systems from “big picture” integration perspective.Expertise in MS Office suite. Visio experience would be a plus.Ability to train end users on system features and functionality.Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.Must be organized, focused and able to deliver under tight time lines.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of personnel, including end users, management, and developers.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis role has some supervisory responsibilities over resources, vendors and tasks.Work EnvironmentWork will primarily be remote. If any onsite visits are required, then this job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m CST, which may vary. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt employees must have the ability to be on-call and available outside of typical working hours, as business needs require.Facility LocationPrimarily RemoteRequired Education, Experience And CertificatesEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Admin, Technology or closely related field.Experience: 3+ years of experience:Business AnalystSystem Implementation ProjectsComputer Skills: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite Programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint (and Visio would be a plus).
