CSO is looking for Family Partners to work in our CBHC (Community Behavioral Health Center) Emergency Services Program (ESP) in Gardner.This is a peer position, for a candidate who has lived experience as a caregiver of a child who's received services for mental health diagnosis.As a CBHC ESP Family Partner:Work in conjunction with Clinicians and other staff to complete assessments and Family Support Plans (including CANS Assessment when needed)Provide support for parent and/or family members through the process of assessment and Family Support Plan development; encourage involvement of natural supports for familiesOversee the implementation of the Family Support PlanProvide direct supports to family membersWhen applicable, provide education, coaching, training, and assistance to parents in navigating child-serving systems (DCF, DMH, juvenile justice)Foster empowerment and building self-efficacyFacilitate linkages to peer/parent support and self-help groups as necessaryAssist in identifying formal, natural support, and community resourcesYour Background:Minimum high school diploma or GED and two years' experience working with children, adolescents, or transition-age youthExperience as a parent/caregiver of a youth with special needs, and preferably a youth with mental health needs; willingness to share this experience/journey with child-serving systemsValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredBilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.We also seek applicants who embody CSO's values by being:Positive -- maintaining resiliency and focusing on solutionsRespectful -- collaborating and effectively communicatingInsightful -- demonstrating self-awareness and effectively prioritizing settingConscientious -- taking accountability and applying feedbackWhat We Offer:Competitive salaries, full health and dental coverage, free CEUs for in-house training, ample paid time off, a 403B retirement savings plan, employee referral bonuses, group rate supplemental insurances, a premier employee assistance program, personal cell phone plan discounts, and a flexible, supportive work environment fostering collaboration.Our Agency:Clinical & Support Options, Inc. is a dynamic behavioral health organization serving Western Massachusetts for over 50 years.
