The AD, Operations, Rare Disease is responsible for understanding data needs across stakeholders in the Rare Disease Business Unit (RDBU) and working with cross-functional partners (e.g., BOS, Brands and Field) to deliver dashboards and reports that improve performance monitoring and timely generation of business insights.Reporting to the Head of Operations, Strategy and Launch Leader for Rare Disease, the AD Operations will have significant interaction with key internal stakeholders, with a primary focus on the field force.By providing day-to-day support to cross-functional partners, the incumbent will play a major role in our efforts to meet brand strategic objectives and will have a strong impact on sales planning, execution, and overall operation of the business unit.Main Responsibilities & Job ExpectationsIn partnership with the RDBU Leadership team, support execution of projects that will position the BU successfully in a rapidly evolving landscape.Identify stakeholder needs related to key performance indicators, sales data and Field activity data.Partner with Business Operations and Strategy (BOS) function to provide data-driven insights to inform/improve decision-making processes.Manage monthly performance reporting processes within RDBU, in collaboration with BOS partners.Manage internal, cross-functional quarterly business reviews with Medical and V&A colleagues with a focus on metrics & insights.Track and prioritize data requests across RDBU, communicate availability of reports/data sources internally to enable shared understanding of performance at the national and regional level.Collaborate with the Rare Disease Brand & Field teams to develop pipelines and workflows aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of data sharing.Lead the data working group within RDBU. Ensure reporting and data availability are understood by and meet the needs of teams.Collaborate with contracting and channel strategy teams to assess improvements in analyzing key brand growth trends.Assist in brand and tactical planning for all three RDBU brands as needed in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Assist in the preparation of POA meetings, cross-functional meetings, leadership off-sites, and Tea building events.Collaborate with the training team on the creation and execution of new resources and development programs.Work closely with Operations leads from Oncology and Neuro business units to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the Rare Disease Business Unit.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all key stakeholders internal and external.Knowledge, Abilities & ExperienceBA/BS is required; MBA is strongly preferred.A Minimum of 5+ years of pharma/biotech industry experience with a breadth of knowledge in Sales/Marketing and Finance.At least 3 years of Management or Strategy Consulting experience, within a Life Sciences or Pharma/Biotech practice.An analytical background with the ability to integrate multiple data sets, analyze large data sources, and create executive summaries for quick turnaround from complex sets of information.Ability to deliver impactful presentations, supported with data (Ideally experience with Specialty pharma data analytics).Successful launch experience is strongly preferred.Ability to work with multiple internal cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated consistent track record of success in project management and producing results as a team and/or individual contributor.Working within an environment of strict compliance to all appropriate regulatory guidelines to successfully design and execute tactics, programs, and tools that achieve business objectives.Willingness/ability to travel domestically, while working under a hybrid structure from our Cambridge, MA regional headquarters.
