Good communication skills & knowledge of basic shop mathAble to read, write and understand basic instructions in EnglishAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAble to lift/move up to 30 pounds regularlyAble to learn how to use measurement instrumentsAbility to follow directionAbility to complete first piece verificationMaintain a good attitude and be willing to learnCommunicates effectively with other team members and Production Team LeaderAbility to become certified in lock out/tag outBe familiar with Human Performance tasksAble to cross train in other areas as requiredAble to understand and meet department goals & metricsParticipate in ABS Kaizen events as requiredAbility to use and demonstrate expertise in area to make recommendations to management to improve design, material, productivity, and/or machiningAble to create own layout from part print and determine RPM and cycle times (if applicable)Able to run the 80 and 100 ton Aida presses independentlyProficiently run the cut off machinesAble to run and set-up hot and single die headers independentlyAble to be run and set-up independently 56 National Multi-die headersAble to be cross trained to run and set-up on the 89 National Multi-die headersAble to be cross trained on HH1012, multi die headerQualifications

Basic Qualifications:Minimum 7 years' experience in Heading requiredEmployee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.Preferred Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredBenefits/Salary:The position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), excellent 401k matching program, paid holidays and vacation.
