Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy

The Pharmacy department at Straub Medical Center is responsible for compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals, supplies, medications, and large-to-small volume parenterals, as well as providing drug information and education. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will help ensure the department provides outstanding pharmaceutical knowledge and services to patients. Your duties will include filling routine orders, compounding various IVs, and performing related technical and clerical tasks. We seek an individual with meticulousness, strong organizational and communication skills, attention to quality control, and a commitment to delivering high-quality health care to the people of Hawai‘i.Work Schedule:

Rotating - 8 HoursMinimum Qualifications:

High school or equivalent.Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Previous hospital pharmacy experience.
