Elevating every aspect of our marketing efforts is a critical element in this planned ramp-up.We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to enhance our data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in machine learning, model development, and data infrastructure, coupled with a strong understanding of the fintech environment.This role requires a blend of technical prowess and strategic thinking to drive projects from conception to deployment, ensuring our analytics capabilities remain best-in-class.Location:

Full-time, Hybrid-Remote (2 days in office/week)Key Responsibilities:

Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models using advanced machine learning techniques to drive strategic decisions and improve product offeringsWork closely with engineering resources towards the development, improvement, and maintenance of Edge data products and services using Python and SQLPerform data analysis and research to uncover trends, validate ideas, and develop proof-of-concepts of our models and data servicesStay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science and fintech, applying this knowledge to influence our technology strategies.Qualifications:1-5 years of professional experience in data science, analytics engineering, machine learning engineering, or equivalent rolesAdvanced understanding of machine learning, data science, statistics, and their application to solving real-world problemsAdvanced proficiency in data analysis using Python and SQLOutstanding communication skills, with an ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to a non-technical audienceFamiliarity with AWS is a plusPrevious experience in software engineering is a plusExperience in lending or a deep understanding of the lending landscape will be an advantageBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageFun, fast-paced work environmentDynamic start-up cultureAbility to make an immediate impact in a growth-stage companyConvenient downtown Chicago office located in the heart of the cityEqual opportunity employer
