Leidos is seeking a talented Software Engineer in Ann Arbor, Michigan to support the creation of novel remote sensing applications for UAVs!As a member of a small development team, you will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to multiple components of the software ecosystem. Working with teams on the research, design, and development of sensor exploitation systems including signal processing, sensor exploitation, automatic target recognition, and signature modeling.Collaborating with our customers to address challenging mission requirements by researching and developing new capabilities as well as making improvements to existing systems.Rapidly and iteratively implement new algorithms to address these challenges.Provide technical leadership for tasks and programsBasic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 4+ years or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineer, Physics, or Applied Mathematics.Strong programming ability in C/C++ for Linux environmentsKnowledge of code configuration controlAbility to effectively communicate technical solutions to coworkers, teammates, and customers.Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.Preferred Qualifications
Experience extracting information from LIDAR dataExperience with SQL and RDMSExperience with real-time software developmentExperience with OpenGL/CUDA developmentExperience developing computer vision applicationsExperience with automatic target recognition technologies and conceptsExperience processing radar/SAR image dataExperience with machine learning techniques applied to sensor data exploitationExperience with multi-sensor data fusion
