As a 3D Systems subsidiary, we are leveraging production-level bioprinting technology to create highly precise vascularized organ and disease models using biomaterials and human cells to study effects at the earliest stages of pharmaceutical drug development.What We Are Looking ForWe are seeking a talented Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to developing software solutions that support our organ-on-chip research and development efforts. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will work on diverse projects, from designing and implementing laboratory information management systems and databases to managing critical data that will drive our AI/ML development.What You Will DoCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists and engineers, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces that facilitate data visualization, analysis, and interpretation.Implement back-end services and databases using PostgreSQL to store and manage scientific data securely and efficiently.Optimize application performance and scalability through code refactoring, caching strategies, and database tuning.Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure software quality through continuous integration and deployment practices.Develop applications and tools per internal compliance and security standards and guidelines.Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and improve development processes.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Strong database design and SQL proficiency, with hands-on experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Experience with code version control systems (e.g., GIT, SVN, Bitbucket) and maintaining comprehensive documentation.Knowledge of security and design best practices and design principles in software development.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Passion for biotechnology and a desire to contribute to meaningful scientific advancements.
