Help us build the bedrock for the Enterprise Class Cloud of the future!Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:Provide all activities related to the engineering of a massively scaled Oracle database fleetProject long-range requirements for database management and design in conjunction with other service owners in the Oracle Cloud ecosystemPerformance tuning including the development of proactive tools to stabilize query execution plansDesign, implement and maintain complex databases, access methods, access time, devise allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and securityQualifications Include:Possess knowledge of performing detailed performance analysis, tuning and diagnostics for Oracle 19c DatabasesPossess leadership experience to assure appropriate changes, upgrades, and enhancements are made based on the technical analysisBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field workEight or more years of experience in Oracle Database EngineeringDeep understanding and expertise in database internalsExcellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skillsAbility to work in an extremely fast-paced and challenging environmentExcellent command of written and spoken English. As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others
