This is an on-site role based in our Brooklyn, New York office.Target base salary of $185,000 - $210,000 + bonus and a competitive equity packageUnlimited PTO, with full health, vision, dental coverageBrooklyn, New YorkDaily $20 lunch and $25 dinner stipendIn-office state-of-the-art gym access in our beautiful office building, Annual Citi Bike MembershipWhat does the role look like?You’ll be joining Whop as a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Creator, directly supporting our VP of Growth. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional balance of analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with a strong desire to build in a fast-paced, ambiguous start-up environment and drive operational improvements.The primary objective of the Sr. Product Marketing Manager - Creator is to drive product positioning that supports activation and feature adoption of the Whop feature stack. This role will focus on understanding Creator needs, developing compelling narratives, and executing go-to-market plans tailored to each feature and app mapped to Creator archetypes.Your First 90 Days:Within 30 days:
You will understand our go-to-market roadmap, growth initiatives, and internal processes. You will coordinate with the VP of Growth on establishing a communication and organizational framework.Within 60 days:
You will take ownership of key growth initiatives, collaborate cross-functionally with other growth team heads, and establish a product marketing process roadmap that aligns with the needs and preferences of the Whop team. You will also work with designated Product Managers to improve activation rates and app adoption for your audience.Within 90 days:
You will become a fully trusted executor for the Growth department, taking a proactive approach to product marketing, anticipating needs, and providing support to achieve the best outcomes possible.Who you areWorked in a multi-sided marketplace, ideally one supporting content creatorsYou have owned the GTM of key features serving multiple audiences and subsequent activation rates for those features.You have crafted compelling product narratives and messaged that target key user personas.Experience in successfully launching and scaling consumer products with measurable impact on key performance metricsExperience working with Jira, Linear, Google Analytics, Iterable, or other CRM tech stack, Metabase/Tableau/Sigma, or similar dashboarding toolsCMS tools experienceWhat you will be doingDeveloping and executing go-to-market strategies:
You will elevate us from having apps to establishing App Store development with clear positioning for each app, mapped by Creator archetype.Driving consumer research and insights:
You will identify the key drivers of user behavior and influence product development and PR efforts through your findings.Managing cross-functional marketing programs:
You will oversee the day-to-day operations of app and product launches with a focus on feature adoption rates.Onboarding Improvements:
You will achieve conversion rate targets (ready to sell to the first user) in partnership with Product.Template execution:
You will develop and implement templates based on Creator archetypes to automate and streamline feature adoption, influencing activation rates and ready-to-sell conversion rates.Focus on key initiatives:
You will drive initiatives that impact ready-to-sell conversion rates and key feature adoption through template execution.Leading strategic initiatives:
You will coordinate and execute growth team strategic initiatives.Professional communication:
You will manage communication and correspondence in a professional, timely, and efficient manner, serving as the right-hand to the VP of Growth in Growth Marketing and Go-To-Market initiatives.Qualifications7+ years of Product Marketing (PMM) experience across multi-faceted products, with a strong track record of launching and scaling successful products.Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to synthesize complex data sets and information into actionable insights and process enhancements.Strategic thinking skills, with a track record of proactively finding solutions to ambiguous and/or complex problems.Previous involvement in cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Executives from Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.Preference for a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.We look forward to hearing from you!At Whop, we’re looking for people who are resourceful, competitive, and gritty.
