Develop and enhance applications and services to exceed our customer expectations. This includes full lifecycle development and ownership of the entire requirement/solution.Foster and support the ongoing growth and practices of agile development within the organization.Collaborate with teammates. To us, this means being a good listener and bringing an attitude that creates an environment where innovative ideas flourish.Participate in the requirements analysis and design for software applications or sub-components.Code or maintain software applications or sub-components from specifications.Follow established software development process.Create appropriate process artifacts including: requirements documentation, design documentation, and test plans.Test applications as identified in the development methodology, and create necessary documentation.Required Qualifications
Must be U.S. Citizen and eligible for SECRET security clearanceBS in Computer Science or related discipline. 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.Experience with Object Oriented software development theory and associated methodologiesGood understanding of coding methods and best practices3 years of related experience in Software Development.Strong C++ or Java programming skills.Must be willing to work on-site.Desired Qualifications
Excellent Math and Physics skillsAgile software development lifecycle experience.Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.Self-starter with the ability to stay organized while balancing multiple priorities.JavaScript/React/Vue experience.Proficiency with database tools such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.Skills
Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:$80,000.00 - $132,000.00 annually.Maxar employees must follow all applicable Maxar policies and COVID-19 requirements as well as those of Maxar customers and third parties. Individual job requirements may vary, and Maxar reserves the right to modify its policies and requirements as it deems appropriate in accordance with applicable law.
