Job Description:
Position Summary:The Photo Business Unit (BU) at Entegris offers a wide range of liquid filtration and purification solutions that are tailored for the semiconductor market. Our industry-leading products reduce defects and improve reliability in our customers’ processes. We are looking for a motivated and team-oriented Product Manager to join our Dynamic and Collaborative Photo Product Management team.
The Product Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing all elements of new or existing products and projects within assigned product line(s) including product line profitability, new product development, product training, product forecasting, product life cycle management and develops Sales/Marketing tools and developing market plans and product positioning. Monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies as they relate to the assigned product lines. Monitors sales revenue and volume production, tracking profitability and availability and key customer usage. Guides the product Life Cycle process ensuring maximum return to the Business Unit and the company. Define, develop, and manage the direction of products, technologies, and market opportunities in existing and new markets to achieve stated growth and revenue objectives. Determine, formulate, and establish annual and monthly sales forecasts and goals for the short and long term. Provide vision for products and technologies.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:Define new purification business and develop the products with across team. Support membrane related activities in Billerica and I2M center.Become "expert" in competitive products to provide competitive differentiation and positioning.Engage and drive a diverse team of people including highly technical scientists and engineers, sales, quality, and operations personnel.Define and work with R&D, engineering, and supplier teams with external partners to drive innovation in continuous improvement for existing products including improving sustainability and cost. Thrive in an environment for innovation and problem solving.Implements strategies and roadmaps related to pricing, cost reductions, and product line growth. Manages ongoing profitability according to product plans. Coordinates internal communications on all aspects of assigned line(s) with Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing via department plans, team meetings, and other written/oral communications. Leads investment, cost reduction, support and general management activities for the product line.Creates and implements annual and long-range product forecasts. Provides accurate and timely product line(s) forecasts, develops and reports on individual product line(s) by region. Monitors actual performance versus plans and forecast.Set clear organizational goals and priorities while inspiring others to work towards a common vision with a qualified consensus.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:Technical background with bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, or related fieldUnderstanding of semiconductor manufacturing businesses and processes, preferredExperience in the semiconductor or liquid filtration industries is preferred but not requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong English language, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to work and communicate across geographies and multi-cultural environmentAbility to interact directly with product and division managers to develop program objectives.Ability to take on assignments with broad objectives where guidance is provided on critical issues only.Experience in preparing complex project proposals, plans, schedules and budgets, as well as detailed reports and presentations.Must be a team player with a positive and can-do attitudeAbility to travel domestic and internationallyStrong time and priority management - ability to identify and focus on critical issuesProactive with a sense of urgency – identifies and addresses problemsFostering and adherence of Entegris Corporate PACE Values
