Responsibilities
As a member of the Accounting team, you will play a key role in supporting various accounting functions and processes including facilitating monthly, quarterly and year-end close, posting journal entries, revenue recognition, COGS, posting customer payments and reconciling account balancesThis position will be involved with implementing accounting software and ad hoc projects to gain efficiencies to help HPR scaleThis role reports to the Accounting ManagerManage day-to-day financial transactions including posting customer payments and sending weekly AR statementsManage, reconcile and review corporate credit card transactions and supporting documentationSupport month-end and year-end close processes including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliationsSupport the client purchase order and monthly client billing processesWork with team to close the month in a timely and efficient mannerContribute to process improvements and ad-hoc projects designed to gain efficiencies and streamline current processesProvide accounting support for financial reporting analysis
