We are looking for someone with a passion for building relationships, selling, negotiating, and a desire to revolutionize the way companies integrate financial services globally.If you have a customer-first mentality, are solution-focused, obsessively curious about everything, and have a desire to make an impact and grow yourself, our market, and our customers, then you have found your calling. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we are looking for the best of the best. You will be one of the first sales hires for the US SMB team at Airwallex and will sell our suite of APIs and embedded finance solutions to e-commerce retailers, marketplaces, technology companies, and other priority industries. Your primary focus will be bringing on new SMB customers and leveraging your skills in pitching, negotiating, and driving internal processes to set up our partnerships for success.We are a hybrid work environment with 2 days per week required in office.You Will Make Impact ByBecoming an expert in all aspects of the Airwallex platform, specifically our API and embedded finance solutions.Clearly communicating the value of Airwallex’s API products.Owning the entire sales process for your book of business.Passionately acquiring every potential SMB that could benefit from our embedded finance solutions, both inbound and outbound.Focusing on customer experience and ensuring satisfaction from prospecting through onboarding.Consistently exceeding your sales target volumes and revenue goals by selling our API and embedded finance products.Negotiating partnership agreements and commercial contracts in collaboration with legal, finance, and strategy teams through to execution.Contributing to the crafting and redesigning of processes to ensure Airwallex can move quickly and succeed at scale with our API and embedded finance offerings.Being a team player and setting the standard for our SMB sales function.What We Look ForBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience5+ years closing experience; minimum of 2 years of experience in API sales, preferably in the fintech or technology sector and in a closing or hunting roleUnderstanding of APIs and their applications in the fintech industryA desire to be in the fintech/payments spaceA proven track record of new business solution selling, ideally in target verticals including e-commerce, marketplaces, and technologyA customer-focused, consultative approach to salesCreative, enthusiastic, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environmentThe ability to multitask while efficiently managing prioritiesA collaborator who is willing to work with people at all levels and across functions and culturesSuccess-oriented and hold yourself accountable for delivering key outcomes including revenue targetsA FIO (Figure It Out) attitude and are willing to do whatever is necessary to achieve resultsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsYou have strong analytical skills and an organized way of thinking/workingProficient in GSuite; knowledge of Salesforce or other programs a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive salary, commission plan and pre-IPO equity, Generous vacation, sick leave and company holiday scheduleWide ranging responsibilities and opportunities to grow including possible international assignments or permanent transfersAssortment of health and wellness benefits including multiple medical coverage options several with $0 premium cost to the employeeEqual OpportunityAirwallex is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
