ASRC - Broadleaf is seeking an Executive Assistant - Jr - to support our PEO Digital work at the DC Navy Yard. This position will support one of the executive level employees or portfolio managers for PEO DES. In this role, the employee is responsible for screening incoming calls, taking notes during meetings, managing calendars, and reminding personnel about important meetings and presentations. Responsibilities also include making travel arrangements, submitting expense reports, and drafting correspondence on behalf of the executive. All applicants must have previous experience in an administrative assistant role, preferably for a senior-level employee, and must be able to work with absolute discretion.
Job Description
Provide administrative support to one of our executive-level employees.Assist with calendaring.Screen incoming phone calls, taking messages when appropriate.Make travel arrangements.Draft correspondence.Submit expense reports.Take notes during meetings.Assist with other clerical tasks as needed, including data entry.Requirements
2-4 Years’ Experience In The Following Areas (Prefer 10 years or more experience).Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.Ability to work independently and as a team member.Learn and apply administrative support concepts to assigned duties.Specialized administrative support experience with a Navy acquisition program or related/comparable administrative support experience with Department of Defense (DoD) agencies.Applying the Navy Correspondence Manual to assigned duties.Ability to schedule meetings and maintain calendars.Excellent oral and written skills.Excellent critical thinking skills.May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.Must be a US citizen.Clearance Level

Master’s degree.Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years of additional relevant work experience accepted.
