Lprs
Proctors are responsible for setting up test rooms, recording attendance, making sure no one cheats during an exam and ensuring that all exams are turned in on time. Test proctors are essential to maintaining the integrity of our organization and of the exams our faculty administers.
Responsibilities
Preparing classrooms prior to exams
Recording test-taker attendance as requested
Handing out examinations and relaying instructions (e.g. time limits)
Answering questions that test-takers have to the best of your ability
Watching test takers to make sure no one cheats
Ensuring only approved materials are used during the exam
Following prescribed protocols if test-takers ask to step out (e.g. for the restroom)
Reporting any suspicious activity according to protocols
Collecting exams as they’re finished and/or at the end of the allotted time
Qualifications
Impeccable integrity and a commitment to upholding standards 3+ references that can attest to honesty and integrity Good verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with common exam practices and procedures Willingness to follow all protocols and procedures Flexible schedule during business hours Master’s degree or enrolled in such a program
