We help you make better parts, less expensively.Job Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for being an important support functionin the Capital Equipment sales process by providing technical information required to improve productivity of machine tool users. Working with various internal departmentsto provide accountability and follow-up for our customers.Other duties include, but are not limited to:Developing and maintaining customer relationships to ensure all needs are met from pre-sales to project completion by actively reviewing processes and reporting through SalesforceMaintaining an in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and the product lines represented by our companySupporting a broad range of tooling and machine accessory projects within a Capital equipment sales territory and establishing yourself as the central knowledge base for the associated machine accessories, work holding, and tool holding productsDeveloping solutions for process optimization and managing related projects from concept to completionParticipating in continuous education meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay current with new products, processes and technologiesCultivating a sales territory to generate revenue when not supporting Capital machine projectsBeing responsive to customers and Capital sales staff in resolving issues promptly and professionallyMaintaining a high degree of integrity and professionalism that safeguards the trust and confidence of customers, and colleaguesQualifications (Education, Experience in Related Field, Skills, etc. ):

Engineering Degree (or related field) preferred with 3+ years of applicable experienceIntermediate to sophisticated knowledge of CNC machine technology and applications with experience in a manufacturing environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formDeep-seated desire to win in a competitive marketplaceStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to excel in a team environment as well as when working independentlyBring a strategic approach to all of your work and creativity for solving challengesStrong interpersonal and presentation skills – must be able to effectively present products and information to customers in one-on-one and group settingsAbility to communicate professionally in oral and written exchangesExperience with Salesforce or another CRM is a plusAbility to manage occasional long-distance travelPossess a valid US driving license and a clean driving recordA valid US Passport is a plusFrequent travel throughout a regional sales territory is requiredPublic speaking and/or product presentation experienceCMTSE CertificationProject Management experienceLean Manufacturing training/experienceOther Functions:
