Senior Account Executive . Our Stamford, CT office is the preferred work location. This is a hybrid role,Role DescriptionAs a team member of the Mutual Practice Treaty unit, the Senior Account Executive is responsible for the generation and retention of profitable treaty business in the US. The position has specific responsibility for marketing and client service activities, as well as underwriting activities as appropriate. Candidates will work with existing Senior Account Executives, the Underwriting Team, and Account Specialists to develop skills that allow them the opportunity to succeed in the role.Position Responsibilities:Strong understanding of the primary marketplace and industry trendsAbility to engage in product conversations with client LoB management and understanding the relationship to client financial resultsStrong desire to market frequently across client senior management, building new and strengthening existing relationshipsExcellent negotiation skillsAn ability to understand clients' portfolios and provide qualitative and quantitative perspectives and design reinsurance solutions based on their underwriting strategy and past/future performanceCoordinate and participate in client underwriting reviewsLearn to use and interpret portfolio pricing toolsRole Qualifications and Experience:Minimum 10 years of Property or Casualty LoB/Underwriting or 15+ years of (re)insurance company financial managementEnjoys working within a small team and is both collaborative and collegialA willingness to work independentlyProven quantitative and analytical skillsExcellent communicator including listening, verbal, and writtenWillingness and ability to travel extensivelySuperior time management skillsThrives in a role performing many different tasksSelf-starter with the ability to take initiative in a team-based environment with limited supervisionAbility to develop creative approaches and solutionsConstant willingness to learnAbility to respond to client needs while achieving underwriting objectivesWillingness to work in Stamford, CTSalary Range:210,000.00 - 350,000.00 USDThe annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the US and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills, and/or training.Our Address:General Reinsurance Corporation120 Long Ridge RoadStamford, CT 06902 (US)At
