If outside MN, candidate must reside within the following states that LHB is licensed to do business: CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA MI, MN, MO, MS, ND, NE, OH, OK, PA, SD, TN, TX, WI, WY and relocate to MN within 6-12 months of date of hire.Position SummaryThe responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:Fostering relationships with existing clients, while cultivating new relationships to drive organizational growth and strength through our public works portfolioIdentifying and pursuing projects in the roads & highways market that align with our current and future servicesMentoring and supporting other project managers, engineers, technicians, and landscape architectsMonitoring and tracking project budgets, staff utilization and financial targetsLeading roadway projects of various complexity, scope, scale and budgetsLead the process of responding to requests for proposals for professional engineering services from clientsLead public meetings and be a communication resource for public interactionsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college10+ years of Civil Engineering experienceWorking knowledge of MnDOT and Minnesota local agency specifications, design practices and project assembly requirementsProfessional Engineer licensureAbility to evaluate, plan, direct, manage, communicate, engage and oversee projects with varying degrees of complexityStrong written and verbal communication skillsUpon receipt of an offer of employment, applicants must be able to successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that will include a criminal/civil background check and drug screen, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulationsPreferred QualificationsProgressive work experience directing and leading roadway projects in MinnesotaPrevious experience and understanding of roadway design using Microstation, Geopak / ORDProgressive experience overseeing engineering team membersProven ability to develop and maintain client baseBenefitsRemote Work SchedulePaid HolidaysPaid Time OffMedical and DentalHSA/FSA (Medical, Dependent Care, Parking Transportation)Base Life and AD&D401(k) with Company MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramRequired SubmittalsResumeCover LetterSalary RangeThis position’s anticipated base salary rage is $107,000 – $148,500 annually .
