We are seeking a driven and innovative junior designer eager to move their work to the next level and help us make the world a better place to live. Our mission is to make good causes, practices, and ideas more fun, easy, and popular. Our clients are typically nonprofits, foundations, and governments. The successful candidate will be energized by working with a wide range of other professionals, including writers, artists, researchers, developers, designers, and strategists stretched from Denver to just outside Washington, DC.Things we are looking for:Strong production skillsStrong skills in typography, layout, composition, and colorStrong skills with Design software (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)A keen eye for aesthetics and detailsPortfolio focused on typography and layout (any other relevant work is welcome)Demonstrated talent for high-caliber creative and designInterest or experience in motion graphicsDesire to work in a team environmentExcellent communication skillsAbility to collaborate with art directors, editors, illustrators, and other departments in a fast-paced and friendly environmentThe motivation to maintain and improve design standardsThe willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improveSome of the perks:Nice co-workers (really, we only hire nice people)Work that makes the world a better placeEnvironment that encourages professional growthM4C offers a comprehensive benefits package including vacation, sick and holiday leave.
