Job Summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr Director Business Development - Industrial (m/f/d) preferably located nearby Stuttgart, Germany. Reporting to the VP Global Account Management, the Sr Director Business Development - Industrial (m/f/d) role will be in charge of qualifying new customers, developing relationships and business, achieving pipeline and bookings results according to assigned unipersonal and team targets.What a typical day looks like:Develop new strategic alliances with key customers;Research and recognize customers' business strategy, future product plans, and expansion activities and align Flex resources where mutually beneficial;Work closely with the Business Development Team and the Finance Department to control budgets within the department;Assist new and current accounts in the development and execution of product roadmaps and act as a focal point in delivering Flex's solutions which include concept development, industrial design, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, services hold up and reverse logistics;Represent Flex Ways of Working when interacting with internal & external contacts.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

A completed degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business, or other equivalent field of study with relevant professional experience in the EMS / CMO / engineering business environment. Knowledge of Strategic Selling techniques and understanding of key financial metrics and capability to read P&L, balance sheets, ROI indicators, taking actions to meet customers’ needs and Flex targets. Ability to work with internal teams and executive management as well as external customers to maximize mutual benefit. Excellent communication skills in English and local language to successfully influence senior level management, executives, and key clients. Ability to travel mostly within Europe ~ 50%.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:
