Job Description: Interventional Pain Management Physician

Location:

Columbia, South Carolina

Practice Overview:

Join a dynamic interventional pain management practice with two sites including a brand new Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in the Columbia, South Carolina. Our practice is led by 4 physicians and supported by a team of 5 Physician Assistants (PAs). Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and handle many patients, receiving 150-200 new referrals monthly.

Types of Procedures:Radiofrequency Ablation for pain reliefSpinal Cord Stimulation for challenging chronic pain conditionsDiscography to diagnose painful discsElectrodiagnostic Testing for neuropathy confirmationGreater Occipital Nerve BlocksTrigeminal Nerve BlocksSphenopalatine Ganglion Blocks for headaches and facial painEpidural Steroid Injections (Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar)Selective Transforaminal Epidural InjectionsPeripheral Nerve Blocks (Face, Arms, Legs, Chest Wall)Facet Joint InjectionsMedial Branch Facet Nerve InjectionsSympathetic Nerve Blocks for various body regionsMajor Joint Injections (Shoulders, Hips, Wrists, Knees, Ankles)Small Joint Injections (Hands, Feet)Compensation and Benefits:

Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of an accredited residency programBoard certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or similar specialtyActive medical license in South Carolina or eligibility to obtain oneAdditional Requirements:

Commitment to delivering compassionate patient care and achieving clinical excellenceStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
