Job Title: NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist - RRT NICUFacility: Lehigh Valley Hospital NetworkLocation: 1200 South Cedar Crest Blvd. Allentown, PA 18103Pay range: $58 - $60/hrShift time: 6:45 PM - 7:15AM11 weeks assignment with high possibility of extension Job Summary: Administers all forms of respiratory care, both critical and general therapy, and directs and manages the respiratory and pulmonary care for a designated group of patients Provides respiratory assessment, support, treatment, and diagnostic tests as part of the healthcare team.Proof of COVID & FLU vaccination MUST be provided at time candidate is submitted!****DECLINATIONS ACCEPTED. Certifications - Required:•RESP REG - Respiratory Therapist, Registered NBRC RRT•AHA BCLS - Basic Life Support •AHA PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support •AHA NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program Licensure - Required:•Respiratory Care Practitioner - PA state license Education - Required:•Associate's Degree Graduate from an RRT program accredited by the commission of accreditation for Respiratory Care Experience - Required:•1 year Experience as a registered respiratory therapist. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required:•Ability to provide respiratory therapy methodologies and techniques.•Ability to operate and trouble-shoot diagnostic equipment.
