The vision of Marrakech Inc. is that each person we serve will live and work in the community and be accepted by their neighbors, co-workers, family, friends and acquaintances for their individual qualities and contributions.Community Support Professional (CSP)SummaryThis position provides one to one direct care to persons with mental health disorders who have moved to their own apartments after residing in nursing homes, who were hospitalized or other circumstances. The CSP fulfills a set number of flexible, contracted hours per week per person according to their individual recovery plan. The CSP implements recovery and individual skill building programs and other habilitation programs, as well as facilitates and promotes community integration and natural support development. The CSP assists with the implementation, training and development of the DMHAS generated Recovery Plan.A CSP may oversee, assist with scheduling, and supervise and train the direct care providers on the recovery plan working in the home of their assigned cases (Recovery Assistants- RA) including their required documentation. In addition to maintaining a caseload, a CSP may provide orientation, shadowing and documentation training or oversight to new CSPs and interns. All CSPs assist the Lead CSPs and Assistant Director with various duties as needed.Other duties may be assigned. Works a flexible schedule according to persons supported needs and plans.SupervisionReports directly to the Sr. Director of Clinical Support Services for DRS for general supervision and receives clinical supervision required by the MFP contract from the Marrakech Clinical Supervisor. Attends regular 1:1, group supervision, and staff meetings with the Sr. Director. Follows directives and documentation deadlines overseen by the Lead CSP.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesAssists the Sr. Director in providing orientation, shadowing and documentation training to new CSPs and RAs as well as administrative duties as needed. Reports progress and needs to the Lead CSP or Director to address in supervision with other staff as needed.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in behavioral health related specialty preferred (includes special education or rehab) and pass the online training program for CSP and certification for the Recovery Assistant position (80% or higher). Candidates with two years of related schooling, and at least two years of experience in the provision of mental health services or Certification as a Peer Specialist may be substituted for the Bachelor’s at the discretion of the Program Managers.
