At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on!THE JOBThe Event Staff position will protectively interact with guests to provide information and assistance on all things related to the guest having an enjoyable experience at MGM Music Hall Fenway.WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOCommunicate venue information about policies and procedures to guests as they prepare to enter the venue.Look for ways to proactively assist the guest to ensure they have an enjoyable experience.Answer questions about common venue programs such as upgrades, purchasing fan merchandise, etc.Direct restroom and concessions lines, as needed, to shorten guest waiting times.Assist in resolving guest complaints. Work staff entrance and give out employee badgesFollow and maintain COVID 19 safety protocols throughout the venueHelp maintain PPE and sanitization inventoryInterpret, implement, and support Covid guidelines as it pertains to the venue and local/state guidelinesCommunicate venue information about policies and procedures to guestsReport maintenance and cleaning issues to the respective department manager in a timely manner.May fill in temporarily with a department to support staffing levels during peak or break times.Greet guests as they enter and leave the venue. May also distribute advertising flyers.Check restrooms frequently to make sure guests' lines are moving and alerting the cleaning when necessary.Keep records of inquiries, complaints, or comments.Help with VIP programming under the direction of the Operations ManagerReport maintenance and cleaning issues during a showto the respective department manager.Greet and check vaccine cards/negative Covid tests as guests enterMonitor and log lost and found itemsEnsure guest safety through proactive personal interaction and removing hazards in the area of responsibilityCheck identification of any guest who appears to be under 30 years of age who is drinking alcoholic beverages inside the venuePrevent and resolve altercations among guestsMaintain control by circulating through your work area throughout the shiftSet up area before opening (stanchions, table configuring, etc.)Keep interior and exterior of the venue clear and safe, cleaning spills and removing food, trash or other obstacles, before, during and after the shiftWHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRINGHigh School Diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years in Guest Service and communicationsCreative thinker and problem solverExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAcute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacyA strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute programsPosition requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+ and occasional sittingAbility to work late hoursFlexible schedule
