Our client, a leading semiconductor client, is looking for
Material Handler 3 Shift 1.
Job Title: Material Handler 3 Shift 1
Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Job Location: San Diego, CA
Pay Rate: $22.77/hr on W2
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
Responsibilities:
Working in shipping/receiving environment. Packing/unpacking of KLA systems, accessories, parts and components. Handling delicate and sensitive parts and materials with care. Daily interaction with ERP, email and project management systems. Maintains records of material movement. Follow detailed packaging procedures for routine equipment combinations. Exercise judgment in safe packaging of less common equipment combinations. Communicating with others from different groups in coordinating the outbound flow of material. May assist in preparing kits for internal or external assembly operations. Qualifications:
2 - 4 years working in Material-related functions. HS Graduate or equivalent
