Position SummaryJoin a high-performing actuarial team supporting CVS Health and Aetna's exciting and growing government services pharmacy business. The colleague’s primary focus is Part D Low Income Benchmarks and Premium Subsidies.This role will focus on analyzing financial and business impacts of changes to the complex Part D market and completive landscape. The colleague will develop and maintain models to ensure business strategy achieves enrollment and financial objectives by ensuring pricing positions our plans optimally within the Part D market. The colleague will work with business partners to analyze the impact of proposed legislative or regulatory reform. Other responsibilities may include forecasting and financial reporting.The colleague will:The colleague will collaborate with cross-functional business partners in Actuarial, Government Affairs, Finance, Product and Underwriting to achieve desired resultsTake full ownership of assigned projects, manage to overall deadlines and complete tasks independently while collaborating with othersEffectively communicate and collaborate across teamsAct as a subject matter expert on assigned projects/concepts and integrate individual results with work performed by othersAnticipate and recognize matters that materially affect financial results and develop sound, unbiased recommendations on how to resolve these mattersLeverage strong technical skills and critical thinking to design and achieve business solutionsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree along with 3+ years related experienceExperience with Microsoft Office suite, especially ExcelExperience with SAS, SQL, R, Python a plus, working with large and detailed data sets is requiredStrong communication skillsSolid technical/analytical skills and attention to detailPreferred QualificationsPrevious Medicare Part D or pharmacy experience a strong plusASA or FSA designationWilling to consider well-qualified candidates without actuarial credentials or not on the actuarial exam trackPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$63,300.00 - $139,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.CVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
