Overview

The Senior Manager, Subscriber Services will provide expertise and leadership to manage operations of the company’s subscriber data services. This position will deliver best-in-class network performance, availability and resource utilization, including all aspects of repair, upgrades, and maintenance of existing/future networks. In addition, the Sr. Manager, Subscriber Services, will be responsible for implementing changes to simplify existing architecture, call flow, and signaling while increasing operational functionality.Responsibilities

Responsible for establishing and maintaining engineering and operational standards, innovation, and strategic direction to include design, deployment, configuration, and maintenance standards related to the HLR/HSS//STP/DSR/LSMS/SIP/3GPP AAA, ENUM PCRF and value-added services nodes (SMS, MMSC, PCC)Responsible for managing the Subscriber Services team.Manage relationships with Billing, Roaming, Carrier Voice, and other organizations to provide necessary support to their operations.Provide leadership to manage demands from projects and technology upgrades including recommendations for vendor tools/solutions and global alignment of networks related to area of expertise.Assist in the development of a strategic roadmap to ensure Subscriber Services network architecture operations goals are met.Support container-based technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes as well as virtualization technologies.Responsible for vendor performance management for deliverable related to hardware & software issues and overall operational performance.Responsible for minimizing capital and expense costs associated with the Subscriber Services network elements.Hire, coach and mentor staff to ensure individual growth and development.Qualifications

REQUIREDAt least 10 years of experience specifically in an HLR/HSS/IMS/STP/DSR/LSMS/PCRF/ and value-added service environment required.Work experience and comprehensive knowledge and expertise in 4G and 5G architecture, VoLTE call flows signaling, and PCRF required.Proven track record of driving change and transformation in network operations processes, tools and technologies through metrics-driven, KPI-based methodologies, and an evidence-based operational improvement and decision-making approach to best meet business objectives and priorities.Must be able to demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge related SS7, SIP SIGTRAN protocols, 3GPP standards and familiarity with industry best practices.Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Ability to plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to communicate sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical members of the organization.Demonstrate experience in project management and leading multi-functional teams.PREFERREDBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field strongly preferred.Proven experience directly leading, supervising, and managing relevant technical teams effectively.Ability to drive technology strategy in areas – 5G, 4G, and Automation.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

Schedule may include after-hours, weekends, and holidays depending on appointment schedules. Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use a computer keyboard and/or mouse while viewing the computer screen. Must have experience with Microsoft Office programs, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
