10025678We're seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team! In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial reporting. You'll focus on a specific area of accounting while gaining valuable experience in other areas through cross-training.Responsibilities:Collaborate on month-end closing procedures, preparing detailed journal entries and supporting documentation for audits.Analyze financial results, comparing them to budgets, past performance, and forecasts for key financial statement line items.Reconcile accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.Create well-documented schedules and reports to support annual audits and tax filings.Recommend improvements to internal controls and business processes.Contribute to the documentation of accounting procedures.Build relationships with team members and business partners, acting as a primary point of contact.Participate in various accounting projects, analyses, and research assignments.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred).Experience with general accounting principles and practices.Strong understanding of accounting software and financial analysis tools.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
