OBJECTIVEThe Store Manager is a true business owner for their store. They are responsible for leading, managing and continuously developing all aspects of their store's business. They are accountable for creating and maintaining a positive and highly productive work environment that aligns with the company's mission. They will be responsible for consistently achieving sales & profitability goals, operational objectives, merchandising standards and developing a highly successful Sales, Operations, and Visual team.Business LeaderDevelop and execute the store’s retail strategiesLocal market knowledge of clientele base and brand competitorsAware of business trends that relate to the success of the storeDemonstrate strong business acumen through KPI’s to develop and support business driving strategiesLead team by leveraging company tools, incentives & strategies to support meeting sales goalsPeople LeaderEnsure that the store team exudes Alo's mission and guiding principles to effectively communicate to our visitors who we are, what we do and why we do what we doDevelops an environment of growth, accountability and inclusivity through development, performance management, training and consistent coachingConducts talent analysis of colleagues and establish career progression plans for key players and positions to result in retention of best talent and turnover reductionEstablish internal & external pipeline through succession planning and recruitment strategyOperations LeaderOversee Sales & Service, Operations, and Visual Managers to ensure execution of all key strategiesOversee and support execution of key operational and visual guidelinesChampion strong visual standards for the salesfloor by leveraging business performance dataSupport a safe work environment and efficient operationBusiness PartnerCollaborate with cross-functional business partners to support organizational goalsBe a brand ambassador and create a store culture that aligns with Alo’s missionDemonstrate an ability to navigate the organization with a balance of business need and brand cultureCreate and implement effective communication strategies throughout storeStore Manager Qualifications:5+ years of retail or related industry leadership experienceWorking knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenAgile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environmentHighly Motivated by driving business in a fast-paced, innovative environmentBusiness owner mindset with an entrepreneurial spiritIndependent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountabilityAligns with and embodies Alo’s guiding principlesTo build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams, we expect all full-time employees to have open availability and are expected to work variable shifts including peak days and weekends. Please also note, Store Managers are eligible to participate in the Company’s Monthly Store Incentive which may result in bringing the total compensation to a higher range. Further, the range listed is just one component of the Company’s total rewards package for retail employees.
