Training/Learning Specialist

Training/Learning SpecialistPrometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health and social services agencies, is seeking a Training Specialist to support a federal contract with Veteran’s Health Administration experience. Experience with or interest in Veteran’s Health Administration is a plus.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the overall training/learning effortOversee instructional designBuild facilitation and participant guidesFacilitate training design and review sessionsLead instructional and training sessions, to include workshops and collaborative discussionsIdentify gaps in learning needed; gather and share best practicesQuickly learn on the job content to enable you to develop effective learning coursesDevelop and execute post-course training surveysCreate or improve informational material to include but not limited to handbooks, technical guides, how-to-guides, pamphletsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree5-10 years of related experiencePMP certification requiredExperience designing, developing, and implementing a variety of training programs, using instructor-led, web-based, or virtual training methodsDemonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory, classroom and web-based instructionExperience with instructional design and storyboardingKnowledgeable about ADDIE (training lifecycle)Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and SharePointStrong facilitation skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsProven ability to lead teams and work independentlyAuthorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship indefinitelyAbility to obtain a Public Trust if requiredPreferred QualificationsDepartment of Veterans Affairs experienceExperience with content development tools such as Captivate and other related learning build toolsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin.This position may be subject to client or government vaccination and masking guidance, policy or requirements as may be changed from time to time.Work location is flexible if approved by the company except that position may not be performed remotely from Colorado.
