Salary:

$60,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on licensure

Hourly Rate:

$28.85 - $33.65

Job Overview:

We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Chemical Dependency Counselor II to provide comprehensive assessment and intervention services under direct supervision. This role is critical in supporting clients transitioning from detox to residential or outpatient services and involves collaboration with various external agencies.

Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed assessments and provide tailored chemical dependency treatment for both adolescents and adults.Offer individual and family counseling sessions.Actively participate in case management, preparing detailed reports and case dictation adhering to program standards and ethical guidelines.Serve as a liaison and advocate with courts, schools, treatment centers, and other entities.Engage in outreach efforts and provide extensive case management to primary clients.Maintain and document all service activities in accordance with program requirements and EMR standards.

Requirements:

Fluency in both Spanish and English, with clinical proficiency.Bachelors Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in chemical dependency counseling.Must hold LCDC II certification or be eligible for licensure.Experience with adolescent and adult alcohol/drug assessment and case management.Effective group work skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships.Strong organizational and communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with EMR systems, specifically Avatar.Required to be fingerprinted; can commence employment with fingerprinting pending.

State License Requirements:

Valid Ohio licensure
