Purpose of Position
Educate the next generation of OB nurses! NKU has a strong commitment to trans-disciplinary education using the resources of the Health Innovation Center. Help the Department of Nursing to play a significant role in academic innovation as well as impact the health of the region. Timeline: This search will remain open indefinitely as needs vary from semester to semester.
Primary Responsibilities
The Department of Nursing invites applications for Obstetrics clinical faculty positions within the BSN Program with Traditional and Accelerated 2nd Degree tracks in a CCNE accredited Program. Faculty responsibilities will include teaching in the clinical area. Teaching responsibilities are limited to clinical education.
Qualifications
Experience in Obstetrics required. MSN preferred. Applicants must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse within the past five years. Teaching experience in nursing is desirable. Department clinical faculty specialty needs may vary from semester to semester. Must possess a valid nursing license through the Kentucky or Ohio Boards of Nursing or be eligible for licensure. Inquiries to Julie Hart at hartj5@nku.edu.
