This intensive Critical Care Fellowship (CCF) is an elective 12-month postgraduate training program for acute care nurse practitioners (ACNPs) and physician assistants (PAs) interested in a career in critical care. The curriculum includes a year of supervised clinical training in various settings, including Surgical Critical Care, Neuroscience Critical Care, Medical Critical Care, and consulting services. Additional didactic training will focus on core competencies of critical care medicine, including simulation experiences, case scenarios, Fundamentals of Critical Care course, and other relevant curricula.

Position SummaryUnder direct preceptorship, develop the skills necessary to function in internal medicine or surgical areas as an advanced practice provider. Supervision and education utilizing current advanced practice providers, internal medicine or surgical faculty, and educational resources with mentorship. Goals and priorities are in accordance with patient and staff needs and organizational objectives. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care proctorship may include neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups.
