We are seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team of healthcare professionals in Sierra Vista, AZ. As a BH Counselor, you will be responsible for providing individual and group therapy, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services to patients dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues.Compensation:
Starting at $35.29 plus benefitsExcellent medical, dental, vision insuranceCompetitive Pay10 Paid HolidaysGenerous Paid Time OffCompany Paid Life, Short-term and Long-term disability403(b) plan and company matchResponsibilities:Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy and counseling services to patients with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.Provide crisis intervention and case management services as needed.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and case notes.Participate in ongoing professional development activities to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices in the field.Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health and substance abuse issues.Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.Qualifications:Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.Current licensure as a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor in the state of Arizona.Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing therapy and counseling services to patients with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities for mental health and substance abuse disorders.
