We are constantly reinventing our technology and procedures to provide our customers, both internally and externally, with the best service available by utilizing the latest computer technology.Position Overview:The STF Alternate Title Specialist will work on files based on State Farm regulations, collaborating directly with the seller and Copart operations. This role involves investigating titling issues using decision-making and problem-solving skills to move vehicles through the pipeline to auction. You will network across the country with our field operations to implement best practices and processes, stay up-to-date with legislative changes impacting the vehicle titling industry, and utilize virtual multi-platform databases including government DMV/BMV third-party sites.Responsibilities:Utilize decision-making and problem-solving skills to free up aged insurance claim vehicle inventory.Troubleshoot and resolve problems specific to vehicle titles, such as odometer discrepancies and power of attorney issues.Understand and apply all DMV laws, rules, and regulations concerning insurance claim vehicles according to State Farm guidelines.Efficiently and accurately identify, analyze, and process ownership documents within company and state alternate special transfer guidelines.Perform administrative duties such as data entry, follow-ups, reports, and word processing associated with Copart documentation and services.Required Skills and Experience:HS diploma or GED preferred.Minimum of one year of office support experience in a customer service/sales role.Experience with title processing is a plus.Ability to work well independently and as a team player to achieve goals.Must possess excellent time-management and organizational skills.Strong work ethic and decision-making skills.Excellent customer service attitude and skills.Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office products, primarily Excel and Outlook).Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail with checks and balances.Highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Join us and leverage your skills to help streamline our processes and provide top-notch service to our State Farm partners and customers.
