The ideal candidate will have a technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bio-Sciences, or a related field, with strong academic credentials and excellent analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.Key Duties:Assist in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, and bio-sciences.Conduct patentability searches and analyze scientific and technical documents.Draft and review patent applications, ensuring clarity and compliance with legal standards.Provide technical support for patent litigation and enforcement matters.Communicate with clients to understand their inventions and provide strategic advice on intellectual property matters.Respond to office actions and correspond with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Conduct legal and technical research to support patent applications and litigation.Collaborate with attorneys and other legal professionals within the firm to deliver optimal client outcomes.Maintain strong client relationships and provide ongoing technical and patent-related counsel.Stay updated on changes in patent laws, regulations, and relevant scientific advancements.Requirements:Technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bio-Sciences, or a related field.Strong academic credentials.2+ years of experience in patent prosecution and drafting.Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.High ethical standards and professional integrity.Education:Technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bio-Sciences, or a related field.Certifications:Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is preferred for Scientific Advisors.Skills:In-depth knowledge of patent law and USPTO procedures.Strong technical understanding of chemistry, chemical engineering, and bio-sciences.Excellent patent drafting and prosecution skills.Strong legal and technical research abilities.Proficiency in managing multiple patent matters simultaneously.Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong client service orientation and ability to maintain client relationships.
