Job Overview – Senior Corporate Accountant:We are in search of a seasoned Senior Corporate Accountant for our Reporting team. This role is pivotal for maintaining the integrity of our corporate financial reports and requires interaction across various teams.Location:

Boston, MA.Compensation:

$100,000 – $110,000 annually, plus bonus.Responsibilities as the Senior Corporate Accountant:Financial Reporting: Aid in preparing consolidated financial statements, footnotes, disclosures, and accompanying documentation.SEC Filings: Coordinate the preparation and review of periodic SEC filings, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies.Data Integrity: Review financial data for accuracy and adherence to accounting policies and procedures.Research and Resolution: Handle accounting and SEC reporting issues, providing solutions and guidance.Executive Assistance: Prepare materials for executive presentations and manage relationships with external auditors for audits and reviews.Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data to create reports and assist in maintaining finance and accounting control policies.Compliance: Complete government surveys and forms, research new accounting standards, and drive internal control initiatives.Qualifications for the Senior Corporate Accountant:Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of relevant accounting work, preferably with direct public company experience. Big 4 audit experience and a CPA certification are highly preferred.Technical Skills: Proficiency with SAP or Oracle, as well as familiarity with consolidation software like BPC or Hyperion, is highly valued.A thorough understanding of US-GAAP and SEC rules is essential.
