Corporate Tax Leader

As a result of our client’s ongoing expansion, they are hiring a Corporate Tax Leader to take on a leadership role in their tax department.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax operations, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional client service. This role requires a deep understanding of real estate tax credits and the ability to manage multiple client projects efficiently.

Focus:
Lead the planning, supervision, review, and completion of real estate tax work and tax returns for a diverse client portfolio in alignment with the company’s client service standards.
Leverage extensive knowledge of tax credit real estate properties to provide comprehensive tax compliance and consulting services.
Identify and implement opportunities for process and performance improvements within the tax function.
Manage various client projects, ensuring regular and effective communication with clients regarding tax compliance and consulting matters.
Conduct thorough research on current tax compliance and consulting issues to provide informed recommendations and solutions.
Collaborate closely with partners, team members, and client personnel to ensure seamless service delivery.
Perform additional duties as required to support the firm's objectives.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
Advanced technical skills with a strong proficiency in utilizing technology and a commitment to continuous learning in a tech-driven environment.
At least 10 years of experience in tax and management, with a demonstrated track record of success.
Exceptional analytical and leadership abilities, with a focus on developing team members.
Proven ability to meet challenging client requirements and deadlines while maintaining a high level of service quality.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Unwavering commitment to professional ethics and integrity.
Ability to contribute to the strategic goals and success of the firm’s business unit.
