Interpret the natural and cultural resources of State parks for park users and the community.Present interpretive talks and activities (e.g., storytelling, field trips/tours, craft demonstrations) about the park's resources.Prepare written material and displays for interpretive presentations.Provide information on park rules, hazards, safety concerns, and recreational opportunities.Monitor and report changes in the condition of park resources.Coordinate work with volunteers on park projects and activities.Perform general clerical duties such as record maintenance and distributing printed material.Work on weekends and holidays to accommodate visitation peaks.Minimum Requirements:
Legal Authorization to Work in the U.S.General Experience: One year of work experience or high school education equivalent.Information/Education Experience: One year of work experience in information/education programs.Resource Management Experience: Knowledge of natural/cultural resource management practices.License: Valid driver's license.
