Experience working with patient aggregation platforms like HIE.
Experience managing and tuning EMPIs.
Experience using Source Control and management tools such as Azure DevOps and Gitlab/GitHub.
Experience transforming requirements into Design Concepts and ERDs using Visio and similar tools.
Ability to analyze technical specifications.
Ability to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Ability to effectively communicate.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Install and configure interface engines like Corepoint or NextGen.
Maintain process design artifacts like data flow diagrams, end-user process maps, and technical design documents.
Develop, test, and deploy interoperability and integration solutions based on business requirements using common and accepted industry applications and tools.
Analyze, assess, build, and maintain interfaces for all data exchange methodologies including HL7, X12, FHIR, SQL, REST API, and more.
Design and develop various data integration solutions to and from external EMR systems.
Lead the development and enhancement of CMS Interoperability Rules implementation including Patient Access, Provider Access, and Payer-to-Payer.
Evaluate existing application integration solutions and recommend improvements for performance efficiency.
Elicit and help configure integration tools or platforms necessary to achieve interoperability.
Participate in integration testing of internal and external applications.
Orchestrate and maintain data pipelines that meet security standards and ensure the integrity and quality of data.
Conduct code reviews.
Direct and mentor level I and II engineers.
Serve as a subject matter expert in interoperability-related projects.
Stay up to date on interoperability concepts and standards.
Provide on-call support for production performance/availability or other critical issues outside of normal business hours.
