TH CTS Cardiology Associate/Cardiac Sonographer

is a valuable member of our team, who will perform and assist in the performance of a variety of echocardiographic procedures on adult inpatients and outpatients providing clinical services to our patient population. Qualified candidates will demonstrate superior patient care and possess outstanding communication skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence.Duties of a TH CTS Cardiology Associate/Cardiac Sonographer in the Non-invasive Cardiology Center may include the following but are not limited to:Under the general supervision of the Technical Director of Echocardiography, the TH CTS Cardiology Associate will perform and assist in the performance of a variety of echocardiographic procedures on adult inpatients and outpatients. Using standard 2D, color flow, Doppler and M-Mode techniques and views as indicated and needed. The technologist's primary area of responsibility will be in all aspects of echocardiography. Facility with 2D, color, and Doppler echocardiography, and echo enhancing agents is required.Enter charges for exams performed.Enter patient data/measurements into reporting system.Acts as a clinical resource and preceptor for new staff and students. Serves on selected committees of the administrative and medical staff as assigned by the Heart Institute Administrator.QualificationsRequired : A graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound school program. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible.Preferred : One year experience in Cardiac Ultrasound.Special Notes : Resume/CV should be included with the online application.Posting Overview : This position will remain posted until filled or for a maximum of 90 days.
