Overview

Joby is looking for an experienced Stock Plan Administrator to manage the day-to-day stock plan administrative activities, working side by side with the Senior Global Equity Manager and stakeholders. Resourceful, tech-savvy and fully comfortable in an ever-changing start-up environment, the Stock Plan Administrator is a critical part of the cross functional Equity team as we support Joby’s goal of launching air service in 2025. This position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and requires 3 days onsite either in Santa Cruz or San Carlos.Responsibilities

Maintain Equity Edge database and ensure accuracy at all timesCreate, update, and reconcile account demographic and tax profile dataPrepare and process grants, exercises, releases, ESPP purchases, and dispositions on a timely basis for all team members globallyPrepare and file Form 144 filings for company directed Sell to Cover transactionsProvide data to support external reporting and legal teams on Forms 3, 4, and 5, Proxy, 10K and 10Q SEC filingsMonitor automated system integrationsReconcile and maintain transfer agent share reserves accuratelyEnter and reconcile stock based compensation valuation and expense inputsMaintain trading control settings and process pre-clearance trade requestsProvide proactive and reactive support to all team members on equity compensation related items and inquiriesPerform other duties and ad hoc projects as requestedSupport legal team and 10b5-1 plan partner with reporting and reviewsProvide participant support, communication, and educationRequired

Bachelor’s degreeAt least 2 years of experience in stock plan administration/equity compensation operations or similar workFamiliarity with processing transactions related to Incentive Stock Options, Non-Qualified Stock Options, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, Restricted Stock Units, and Performance Stock Units, Deferred RSUs, and Restricted SharesWorking knowledge of accounting, tax, and securities requirements that drive equity process requirementsAbility to resolve escalated issues and problems quickly, efficiently, and independentlyExcellent work ethic and ability to multitask, prioritize and follow through on multiple projects simultaneouslyIntermediate to Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office and Google Suite productsSuperior organizational skills and attention to detailStrong written and verbal English communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsDesired

Certified Equity Professional designationStrong presentation skills, including the ability to create and deliver presentations on equity compensation to all team membersExperience with Equity Edge Online, Pave, Workiva, Power Automation, Power BI, and ADP Workforce NowExperience with multinational equity compensation offeringExperience in a high growth company or start-up environmentCompensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $92,900 - $123,900/year.
