Threadroll Machining Technician (Saspi-Waterbury)This is an opportunity to grow your career at a large, international aerospace company. The position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) matching program, and paid holidays and vacation.Key Responsibilities:Perform thread roll operations on Ti screw product using Waterbury, Saspi, and Hartford thread rollersPerform in-cell wash, tumble, flat roll operations and run fillet roll machines as requiredConduct 1st Article and in-process inspections, use gages to measure critical thread roll dimensions, input SPC data into computerAbility to perform visual inspection under microscope and detect issues resulting from thread rolling process to prevent rejects / PDRsAbility to follow the 3-pan systemPerform Lock/Out Tag/Out (LOTO)Assist with training and development of entry level operatorsActive involvement in continuous improvement initiativesFollow all EHS Policies and Safety Procedures. Report all incidents immediatelyAbility to set-up and operate Threadroll machines and familiarity with toolingAbility to read measuring devices and interpret specifications and work instructionsUnderstand routers and part drawingsPerform dimensional inspection using QC gages and compare results to specificationsCheck parts visually under microscope, sort parts, etc.Physical Demands:Must be able to lift/move 30 lbs. (may not exceed per EHS policies)Must be able to stand for long periods of timeBasic Requirements:3 years experience operating machineryEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
