Who we are looking for: Are you an experienced LCPC or LCSW passionate about providing counseling services that support an individual's physical, mental, cognitive, and emotional adjustment through recovery?You provide therapeutic interventions and resource recommendations that address patient's goals to achieve their personal, career, and independent living goals in the most integrated setting possibleYou value professional autonomy, teamwork, communication, and collaboration to maximize patient's recoveryWhat will you get:Flexible Schedule Created by YouPaid per hour (not just per visit)Educational ProgramsGrowth/Advancement OpportunitiesResponsibilities:Performs comprehensive evaluations, assessing the needs of patients and their families, and sets measurable objectives and goals that are formulated in conjunction with the rehabilitation team. Adjusts treatment plan to achieve maximum results in independence and/or functionProvides empirically based psychological interventions to the patients and families as appropriate for their specific needs to maximize and encourage their participation with the community at largeDesigns community reintegration activities to assist the patient with their psychological/cognitive needs during physical activityAssists the patient in understanding their needs and limitations and how to manage them during functionRegularly re-assesses effectiveness of treatment plan, progress of patient towards goals and the need for modifying goals or treatmentCommunicates patient's needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient, family members, and others as applicableConsults with medical providers regarding patient evaluation & treatment, progress of the patient & discharge from treatmentObserves/documents and reports changes in the condition/status of the person receiving services to the Clinical Coordinator, Program Manager or DCM, attending physician and other treatment team membersMaintains and submits evaluation, treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulationsAdheres to standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, policies, HIPAA and Corporate Compliance programs and appropriate professional practice standards and applicable state/federal lawsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:Master's or doctoral degree in counseling or a counseling-related field from an accredited college or university, as determined by the state licensing requirementsCurrent professional license and/or certification as required by the state of practiceA minimum of one year of post master's degree clinical experience and counseling individuals with traumatic or acquired brain injuries or related neurological conditionsKnowledge of complex neurologic injury rehabilitation techniquesDemonstrates effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAble to work independently and part of a teamHas reliable transportation and can travel to/from multiple assignments/ locations on a daily basisAbout our Line of Business:

Join our growing team in Maine: Active LCPC or LCSW licensure in the state of Maine, PRN - Per Diem Position, Supporting Home and Community Neuro Rehabilitation Program, Knowledge of neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injuries and related conditions preferred, Community integration experience preferred, Counseling and therapy experience preferred, Acute or post acute clinical knowledge preferred, Supportive work culture, Growth Opportunities, Flexible scheduling.
